When Omer was 16 Years old he bought a Guitar and taught himself to play. For Many years the whole family enjoyed his songs on Guitar. That same Guitar was at his funeral. |

| RETIREMENT |

Omer retired from Shulman Freight Co. when he became Legally blind from Glaucoma. I remember going to his retirement Party in Cambridge, Ma. I was only 10 years old and so proud he had so many friends. Al Webb was his best friend and his wife Franny was my God mother. They were there. I remember dancing with my dad there to Anne Murray song Could I have this dance?... He was blind in left eye and could hardly see out of right eye. He also had to give up driving because of this, He loved his car and this was hard.
Which never got his spirits down, He did have a hard time giving up Bingo when he couldnt see the cards anymore. |

I only remember my Father going to the Movies ONCE. He wanted to see Smokey and the Bandit. So me, Mom and Dad went to see that movie but dad kept asking what was going on because he couldnt see the screen. That was a mistake LOL.. But that is my only memory of him going to see a movie. |

When I was a little girl my Dad would sit me on his lap and read me books all the time. I remember Many Christmas mornings when I snuck down stairs to see the tree My Daddy would be waiting for me with a Big Smile We are talking 5am lol.. My older brothers always tried to scare me as a little girl so my dad would always let me sleep with him and my mom. I am 38 Years old now and can tell you honestly my father yelled at me 2 times in my entire life. He was the most kindess, gentle, and loving father. I will miss him everyday of my life. |

| Illness |

Omer had Emphyzima and an irregular heartbeat which started giving him problems in 2003. He had been in and out of hospital for 2 years. I watched this 5"9 Man go from 186 pounds to 100lbs in 2 years. Even though I will miss him everyday his health was failing and Im happy he is not suffering anymore. Seeing him in pain and hospital was very bad as well. |

My brother Roy has throat cancer and was told he had a Month to live in August, 2005 we were waiting for my brother to go and my father unexpected went first. I believe he went to wait for my brother to help him when it was his time. |

Passed away on August 23, 2005 at the age of 80. |

| November 29th, 2005 |
|
|
|
|
Roy passed away after a long fight with Cancer. Roy went into the hospital on November 23rd, The cancer had spread to his brain and was causing sezures. He passed away on November 29th at 4:30am. |
